Privacy policy
This website
This site has no contact form, no login, no newsletter and no shopping cart. It does not ask you for your name, phone number, email address or any health information.
If website analytics are enabled, an analytics provider may record anonymous information such as which pages were viewed, approximate city-level location, device type and how you arrived at the site. This is aggregate traffic data. It is not linked to your identity and it is not medical information.
Tapping a call, WhatsApp or directions link opens your own phone, WhatsApp or maps application. What happens after that is governed by those services' own privacy policies, not this one.
Clinic confidentiality
Everything you tell Dr. Sushovan Roy during a consultation, and everything recorded in your clinical file, is confidential. It is not disclosed to your family, employer, insurer or anyone else without your consent.
There are narrow legal exceptions that apply to every doctor in India: where there is a serious and immediate risk to your life or someone else's, where a court orders disclosure, or where a specific statute requires notification. If any of these ever applies, it will be explained to you.
For patients under 18, or patients who lack the capacity to consent, information is shared with a parent, guardian or nominated representative as required under the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017.
Your records
You have the right to ask for a copy of your own medical records, to be told what is in your file, and to have factual errors corrected. Ask at the chamber or write to sushovan143@gmail.com.
Messages you send
WhatsApp messages and emails you send to the clinic are stored on your device and on the clinic's device. Please avoid sending detailed clinical information over WhatsApp — it is convenient for fixing appointments, not for describing symptoms, and it is not a substitute for a consultation.
